Lake Wilderness Trail

I found this trail in the Washington Rail-Trail book. It goes from Maple Valley to the Green River. It has no elevation gain and a good number of people, but it is long to make it a good workout. I don't think I'll do it again. Not that is wasn't nice, I just prefer solitude on my hikes.

This is a pretty good drop (15 feet or so) that my dog really wanted to go down. If you look close you can see his little paw prints where the rocks kept trying to take him down.

These were taken at the arboretum that you pass along this trail.

We found a pond there too, Dargo thought he could just step in, not realizing that is was deeper than it looked. But I'm sure it felt good at that point of the hike.
